The course for people who want to fly on their own. Over 10 to 14 days you progress from inflation and ground handling to takeoffs, ridge soaring, landings and precision, with takeoffs from 5 up to 500 metres, and you fly your first thermals. Max 4 students per instructor. At the end you get a diploma and certificate that let you apply to Chile's civil aviation authority (DGAC) to sit the ultralight pilot exam. Afterwards the school offers an advanced course in thermalling, GPS and cross-country flying.
