Your adventure includes fishing for piranhas, birdwatching, jungle trekking, and thrilling night excursions for caiman spotting. Experience Amazonian culture firsthand by visiting local families, learning about cassava processing, and taking part in an indigenous village ritual. You’ll also encounter playful river dolphins, explore the vast Ariau River and tributaries, and enjoy peaceful canoe trips at sunrise and sunset.
With comfortable lodge accommodations, delicious regional meals, and expert local guides, this tour blends nature, wildlife, and cultural immersion for a complete Amazon experience.
Roteiro
- Day 1 Manaus, Meeting of the Waters & Arrival at the Lodge
- 08 00 am: Pickup from your hotel in Manaus and transfer to Ceasa Port.
- Board a speedboat and enjoy a stop at the famous Meeting of the Waters, where the dark waters of the Rio Negro meet the sandy-colored waters of the Solimões River without immediately mixing.
- Afterward, continue with a 1-hour drive to Ariau Village, followed by a speedboat ride to the lodge. The boat ride takes approximately 20 to 50 minutes, depending on the water level.
- Arrive at the lodge around 11 30 am, where you will be welcomed with refreshing drinks and check in.
- 12 00 pm: Lunch at the lodge.
- 03 00 pm: Depart by motorized canoe for piranha fishing and sunset viewing.
- Return to the lodge for dinner at 07 00 pm.
- After dinner, enjoy an exciting boat trip for caiman spotting.
- Overnight at the lodge.
- Day 2 Jungle Trekking & Visit the Anavilhanas
- 07 30 am: Breakfast at the lodge.
- 08 00–11:30 am: Guided jungle trekking. During the walk, your guide will explain medicinal plants, insects, spiders, wildlife, and the rich biodiversity of the Amazon rainforest.
- Return to the lodge for lunch.
- At 3 00 pm, you’ll explore the archipelago of Anavilhanas by boat. From February to August, this trip is made by walking in the jungle, as it is the dry season. There is a great opportunity to spot some wildlife. Sun set
- Return to the lodge.
- Dinner and overnight at the lodge.
- Day 3 Sunrise Canoe Trip, Indigenous Village, River Dolphins & Local Project
- 05 30–06:30 am: Early morning canoe trip to observe the beautiful Amazon sunrise and enjoy the peaceful sounds of nature waking up.
- Return to the lodge for breakfast.
- After breakfast, visit an indigenous village, where you will participate in a traditional welcome ritual and have the opportunity to buy handcrafted souvenirs made by the local community.
- Next, visit a floating dock where you can interact with river dolphins.
- Return to the lodge for lunch.
- The group will visit the local community and learn more about their culture by living among the Acajatuba lake. During the visit, there is an opportunity to learn about the process of mandioca (cassava) and the proteins that it has for the meals of the Local Native people of the Amazon. Back to the lodge.
- Day 4 Ariau River, Wildlife Watching & Return to Manaus
- 07 30 am: Breakfast at the lodge.
- Explore the Ariau River, with opportunities to spot wildlife, enjoy the natural scenery, and go swimming in the river.
- Return to the lodge for lunch.
- 01 30 pm: Departure back to Manaus.
- Arrive in Manaus around 04 00 pm.
- The tour concludes with drop-off at your hotel or the airport.
