Extremo Sur has been running Bariloche's rivers since 1991. This half-day trip covers the Villegas section of the Manso river, inside Nahuel Huapi National Park. After the safety talk we run rapids such as Banda de Billar, Diente de Hipopótamo, Montaña Rusa and Roca Magnética, through forest and sandy beaches, with swimming holes in summer. We finish at the Base Camp with a coffee. Minimum age 5.
What's included
Transfers, guides, river gear (life jacket, helmet, paddle, waterproof jacket and trousers, wetsuit and dry bags) and coffee.
Not included
Meals. Bring swimwear, sandals or water shoes, a fleece, a towel, a change of clothes and sunscreen.
Meeting point
Transfer from Bariloche or meet at the confluence of the Villegas and Manso rivers. Two departures a day.
