Uspallata is a high-altitude valley between two mountain ranges, with ochre and reddish tones that made it a filming location for movies like "Seven Years in Tibet". It sits right on Route 7, the historic road between Mendoza and Santiago de Chile, near Aconcagua Provincial Park, the highest peak in the Americas.
