Ocean sailing expedition to the Juan Fernández Archipelago (10 days)

Real offshore sailing to one of the most pristine and remote places on Earth, known for its endemic wildlife and untamed nature. We set sail from Valparaíso aboard the Altair, a 13-metre ocean-rated sailing yacht, and cross about 366 nautical miles of open ocean and the Humboldt Current, taking an active part in sailing alongside experienced skippers. Indicative itinerary: days 1 to 3, ocean passage from Valparaíso to Juan Fernández, with life on board and watch shifts. Days 4 to 7, time in the archipelago: heritage tour, hiking, horse riding, scuba diving, sport fishing, caves, a visit to Alejandro Selkirk Island, wildlife watching and local food. Days 8 to 10, passage back to the mainland. The itinerary may change with sea conditions, always putting safety first. Two options: a scheduled departure on 1 March 2027, or a private group of up to 5 passengers on the date of your choice between January and April 2027. Plan 1: USD 4,800 per person, taxes included, boarding directly in Valparaíso. Plan 2: USD 5,800 per person, adding one night in Santiago (Providencia) and one night in Viña del Mar before departure, dinners at traditional restaurants, a visit to Sky Costanera and the island activities.
