Hidden lagoons of Baltinache + Vallecito (swimming in the lagoons is closed until December)

The Baltinache lagoons lie hidden in the Atacama salt flat, less than an hour from San Pedro de Atacama. They are one of the most photogenic spots in the area: seven turquoise pools edged with white salt crust, with the impressive Salt Mountains as a backdrop. The lagoons are currently going through a cleaning and recovery period, so swimming is not allowed. During the visit you can enjoy the amazing scenery and take photos of this unique natural setting. We also visit the beautiful Vallecito area, in the Salt Mountains, where we discover striking desert landscapes and charming hidden corners. Choose the morning trip with breakfast or the afternoon trip with a sunset cocktail. Maximum altitude 2,500 m. Minimum age 6; not suitable during pregnancy.
